Martinez++ for Reinhart

Or

McNabb+ for E. Kane

Muzzin might get the conversation started for Reinhart.

Wouldn't want to trade a D for Kane. Lose 1D then you're looking at the expansion and not protecting Kane or losing another D...

Example.... McNabb moved... that leaves Doughty/Muzzin/Martinez/Forbort... so Kings could lose McNabb & Forbort....

I think the defenseman list is going to be so great for the expansion that Forbort/McNabb won't even be considered. I see the Kings losing a Forward at the draft or Dean making a deal so Vegas takes a Forward instead of a Dman.

I think Kane would be better than McNabb for this team. Considering everything.

The + is on the wrong side in the McNabb/Kane idea. Even ignoring the fact that Kane's a ****ing idiot, I want no part of another injury prone 40ish point winger for McNabb. The Kings already have 1 of those with Gaborik, and at least he isn't a moron.

Most I'd go would be something like King or Lewis + Greene. Probably won't get it done from Buffalo's POV, but going much higher for an asset that probably won't be protected and is a UFA soon doesn't make sense.

id add purcell and shore to the list However we would need to have money retained Lets not forget this guy makes over 5 (5.25) and we have toffoli and peArson to resign

King 1.95 (2 Cause I'm lazy)
Greene 2.5
$4.5M Not that far off cap wise.

Toffoli/Pearson resigning won't be an issue with all the youth making the jump.

Edit: Purcell is a ufa, so he can just go away somewhere.

Ducks would probably be a better fit. Maybe Fowler.

your forgetting the extra year on Kane and king is ufa so u only get rid of the 2 once. Your looking at 11 -12 for pearson toffoli resign to tight imo if they retain 2 million im good

also your forgetting the cash to replace both greene and king on the roster

Wild have young, quality D available from both the right and left side. They need a quality forward, or quality forward prospects. The two GM's have done deals before. Who knows?

I can't see Kane being of much interest, for a variety of reasons. If the Sabres only want to give up prospects/picks, then I would do it, but I strongly doubt the Wild management would. They are looking to compete this season.

I'm not too worried about it. Don't think the Kings have the pieces anyways.

It would depend on how bad they want to get rid of him imo I think we got to pieces just do we want the headache of him If we get him cheap id do it in a heartbeat just to finally have someone to play with kopitar and gaborik when they get back Adding a full line to this club would put king purcell and nolan out of the lineup where they belong

Could just be a salary off the books for a draft pick move. Need cap relief to just afford the call-ups to cover injuries right now.

Kane may be a problem child but he's still worth more than a bag of pucks.

No interest in Marc Staal and I'd call for GMTM to be fired if he trades Reinhart short of getting McDavid.

I'd be interested in a base of Martinez/Pearson for Kane with us holding 25% of his salary

I would only be interested in Kane if Gaborik went the other way

I wouldn't trade either one of those guys for Kane (even with retention). His value is at an all time low.

I do not think Kane is the involved party. My guess would be to shore up the defense. Maybe something around Forbort? Not sure how available he would be.

Its Kane.
And Vancouver isn't the only team they've spoken with I'd speculate.
He'll be gone before Christmas is almost assured.
