If you say so. Guess we should just be thankful you ate willing to take him for nothing. Can we take a cap dump from you as well. Lol I kid. We will see what his value is soon enough.7.5M for 2 years is valuable.
I think Pietro felt disrespected that the Blues played hard ball with him, a guy that was underpaid for the duration of his Blues career and their team captain.
The fact that they traded for Faulk and signed him to a 6.5M/yr, 45.5M contract without Faulk having played a single game for them...I know I would feel slighted and underappreciated. Like I just won you this cup and you're not willing to take care of me and my family?
I know this is a contentious point among Blues fans, some look at Pietro as a selfish player, a judas or something, but from an outsider pov, it seems to me like the relationship couldn't be repaired because of that disrespect.

Ok we will see. I have no issues being wrong. I will though call out the bay sayers if I am rightNot according to the GMs from the article.
I’d do that.Kuznetsov for Tarasenko straight up from Washington. Two struggling Russian stars with championship experience in great need of a change.
Ovechkin is aging and Washington needs a secondary scoring threat from the right wing. Orlov is one of Tarasenko’s best friends as well, it makes perfect sense for Washington.
The Blues can get a center with game breaking skill and potential behind ROR with no injury concerns. They just need to straighten him out but he could add a lot to the Blues at center.

You would think..... but I think Seattle looks the other way.If they can’t find a taker for him in the next 10 days is it possible they expose him to Seattle?
It will be an interesting week and a halfIf they can’t find a taker for him in the next 10 days is it possible they expose him to Seattle?
So now blues have to retain just to move him lol. I will defiantly repost this in 10 days lolYou w

No need to bury cap space on a guy who has not been healthy in a very long time.
Either St. Louis retains to move him or they pay someone to take him.
That’s my prediction
Well yeah, either a team trades full value for him like he has been healthy for the past two seasons or they are only willing to give up mostly futures because he hasn't. Of course it'll probably be somewhere between but I doubt they get anywhere near full value given he's owed 9.5 million dollars in salary next year and doesn't exactly have a cheap cap hit either, and now that he has requested a trade it doesn't help either.Really interested to see what his value might be
I feel like there are a WIDE range of possibilities
Hell.no that would be just awful. Kid has issues. What about Evander Kane ( 4 x 7mil) for Tarasenko (2x7.5mil) straight up? Kane has baggage no doubt but still puts up great numbers. Tarasenko has two years less on his deal but has barely played the past two seasons and May have some baggage of his own. Thoughts?
I didn't think he would get full value till trade deadline but looks like we won't get there now.Well yeah, either a team trades full value for him like he has been healthy for the past two seasons or they are only willing to give up mostly futures because he hasn't. If Andy Strickland’s tweet is to be believed apparently some of the blues players also have issues with Tarasenko.Hell.no that would be just awful. Kid has issues.

I never trusted strick. I will wait to see what Lou korac says.If Andy Strickland’s tweet is to be believed apparently some of the blues players also have issues with Tarasenko.
I don't think they pay anyone to move him. I'm a devils fan and have been outspoken that his acquisition doesn't really make a ton of sense for them unless the cost was super low, but I would still actually give up something for him.
Obviously if they retain his value increases, but I don't think it's necessary. As I said before, just about everyone has a guy making a couple million more than they should be that they'd be fine sending back to ease the cap coming in
FWIW since the Isles are mentioned, they could definitely make a deal work without retention. It might require St. Louis taking on a crappy contract though. You w

Yeah that absolutely will not happen. Blues are still a playoff team. Army is not going to gift a player of tarasenkos caliber then take a crap Contract retracing thier ability to spend up to the cap with quality players.FWIW since the Isles are mentioned, they could definitely make a deal work without retention.
