Yeah there are no possibly 30 35 goal scorers that can be traded to blues for tarasenko. Can you name one.

The only stat Tarasenko put into the 30s the last few years is his GP..

Any first round pick involved in a trade with him should be entirely conditional based on his production and his GP. He is damaged goods based on his inability to even play consistently and with the severity of the injuries that can greatly affect his game.

I really can't see the Tarasenko deal being a lateral trade.

It's likely picks/prospects as the Blues should probably start the rebuild.

9th overall, myers, eriksson.

eriksson is just a 1 year cap dump. myers is still serviceable and can probably eventually be flipped for a low pick.

The Islanders can't take on ANY salary. They are already in cap hell, with a lot of older players who cannot easily be moved because of their contracts. Any Tarasenko deal with the Islanders would have to see the BLues taking on more salary than the Isles.

A sniper who has had three shoulder surgeries in 2 years on the same shoulder. Easily could bounce back to his 30 goal form but this is a buy LOW. Not overpay for a hope of him returning to form. If Blues don't want to retain 2nd/3rd and a B prospect at most. Someone will prob offer more tho

What is the demanding to be traded lately. I don't like it. It reeks of the NBA. They're under contract, and whilst it's courteous to respect their decision and fulfill their request, it's disrespectful for them to publicly throw dirt on the franchise and and want out of the multi million dollar deal they happily signed and committed to. I also believe what Eichel did was pathetic, and while it may be hard to be part of a consistently losing team for the first part of your career, he's the Captain, and imo, overpaid and overrated. But that team, the management and fans, built that team around him, appointed him the leader at a a very young age, and always put their shields up and guarded him against criticism and pressure. Now he comes out publicly, whilst injured, throws shade at management when they're at their lowest point, and demands a trade. Pathetic. And this trend is making me sick. I hope St. Louis and Buffalo end up keeping them both, and cut this trend early

NHL players don't have the pull that NBA players have. The NBA is a player's league; they have all the leverage. The NHL mostly just has an issue with keeping rumors under wraps. Whenever a player is on the outs, we usually hear about it. Whether that's from the agents or competing teams hoping to get a better deal. Tank was already rumored to wanting out/being shopped for a little bit now. We're a long way away from a NHL player loudly and ridiculously forcing their way out like Harden/AD. They aren't comparable scenarios.

As a Blues fan, it sucks to have the end of an era with Tarasenko, but it is really the best option for all parties. We shouldn't keep him just to spite him/ourselves or because you're up in arms about it. Fans are so entitled, and look for any reason to blame the players for doing anything they don't want. Same way when Petro left, how dare a guy have a say in where he works. People have been predicting Eichel wanting out of a terrible Buffalo situation for years. Tbh, I'm surprised it took as long as it did for him to say something.

Freaks me out and well, Bluesy way of things goes. Whenever he goes he bounce back +35 scorer when now he is healthy and shoulder is 100%.

First Pietro out

Faulk + Krug stupidity acquiring

Poor medical staff in Blues, Taraenko wants out

Schwartz wants out too?

Parayko next out?

ROR out?

2-years and Blues is full re-build.

Well we got Cup, but thank you Army build Cup team, but **** you destroying it under few years.

Warren Foegele + #26 Overall for Tarasenko ($2.5 million retained) + Dunn

Canes have been linked to Dunn before. I think the Canes could do this pre-expansion draft and gamble losing one of Dunn/Skjei/Bean.

It seems you have the same crap to spew that everyone else does. Watch his last 10 games his 4 playoff games and his 5 international games. If that doesn't show you what you need then you are not looking. Lol

I'm really bummed for him and the Blues here, because I don't think he's going to return a lot despite how good he can be
