That being said, IF there would be a "fit" anywhere, would probably be with the Blues as Yzerman keep trading with them and getting a pick and Mathieu Joseph in return for the bottom six to some degree makes sense sports wise and cap wise. Also one you could toss up on the 2nd line if it is needed.

Joseph has more value than Tarasenko at this point… better or at least equal player with a far lower cap hit

Does make sense; both guys were better fits with the other team. Perron looked really slow last year but had enough veteran presence still that he found space to be effective, especially on the PP. idk what's going on in Ottawa.

I could see a deal straight up, which is funny because these two teams' kind of don't like each other.

Would have to imagine that the Wings, in the offseason, would have retained on a potential deal for him, so why not this year also.

As a Blues fan, it makes zero sense to trade for a guy who doesn’t fit our retool, doesn’t fit an area of need, and requested a trade out of the organization
