I'd love to see it, but with the way the wingers are set up right now, there really isn't a spot for him in the lineup. People are already complaining Kakko isn't getting the ice time. Kravtsov would be on the 4th line getting no minutes. I'm glad he is staying in the KHL for now. He is getting heavy minutes and development.
If he does come over at the end of his KHL season, I'd hope he would slot into a 3rd line role. Eventually, Kakko and Buch will be the top 6 guys and Kravtsov can come in behind them. There is no need to rush this situation with how the team is currently built.

I think it's also worth noting that Drury said they want Barron on the wing with the Pack this season.
They have Richards in the middle who they feel is closer to being ready with a more well rounded game (I could see a a call up for him later in the season). They don't want to force-feed Barron too much and they felt it was important that he comes to the rink every day without guessing where he would be playing.
So not that I think Barron (LW) would necessarily prevent Kravstov (RW) but he would be another winger to contend with - at least this year.
The "you'll ruin him if you play him at center" crowd is the same as the "you'll ruin Miller if you don't start him in the AHL" crowd.

Kravtsov just made two big plays on defense - blocked a shot (that visibly hurt) and then got up to get tangled with Salavat player, strip him off the puck and move it out into the neutral zone.

The game is tied 1:1 after the 1st. Traktor scored the 1st goal in the 1st minute of the game by Sedlak on a pass from Hyka. Kravtsov was trying to get to the net on this play and it even looks like the puck might have touch him before getting to Sedlak. I haven't seen an angle where it's clear that the puck didn't but for now Kravtsov's not on the stat sheet.

Good left circle to right circle set up from Hyka on the line counterattack rush for a shot to Kravtsov. Vitali had a lot of net but didn't elevate the puck enough and the goalie was able to stop the puck into pads, low glove.
