CAA Members get a discount on Sens tickets as well
Hello everybody, couldn't really find a place to ask this question and i didn't really want to make an own thread about it but here i am. Sorry!
Anyway so i moved here to Ottawa last week and i am going to be here for some years probably. Now when i am here i want to go watch Ottawa senators live but when i checked where the canadian tire centre was located , which seem to be in the middle of nowherei got some questions.
What bus route can i take to get there ? atm i am living in Sandy hill so any bus that goes nearby or sorta me would be great. How long does it take to get there by bus? I see some food package in the deals when i checked the ticket prices online, how does that work, what kind of food do they serve?
How long before the game should you be there ?
If you guys could take the time to answer these questions i would be very happy!
Thanks in advance!!![]()

http://www.octranspo.com/tps/jnot/startEN.oci use this. CTC is located under Arenas under Landmarks. It will tell you all you need to know ahead of your game.
Say you live in Sandy Hill? I hope you skate. There is a fabulous outdoor hockey rink free for anyone to use at Jules Morin Park just north of Rideau Street (google maps it). Come play with us sometime![]()
Took the bus to the game last night for the first time. Waited at Bronson and Albert at 6pm. After 5 CTC busses blew past us full, one driver was kind enough to inform the group of Sens fans that we were essentially out of luck....this was after waiting for about 50 minutes. We had to bus to Kanata Centrum and cab to the building and essentially missed the first period. Not sure if this is a Sens or OC transpo issue but likely won't be doing that ever again.
I understand the weather was a factor and OC was backed up, still felt it was a shame that unless you get on one of the very few 400 series buses your essentially SOL to get to a game without a car.

For parking on Saturdays for games - is the Sensplex still a viable option?
I used to do it last year, but then I got a good deal on a parking pass.
Never got bugged last year, but I've noticed they started putting up signs saying you would be towed and ticketed if you weren't there for Sensplex use.
How they actually would enforce that I'm not too sure, I would think you would still be fine..
So show up early, walk inside quickly to see what it's like inside... and then head down to the CTC. Got it![]()
Yeah seems like that should work.
Some people like refs or arena workers would be there the length of a game anyhow so I doubt they really enforce this too much.
Are there any other alternatives? Just remembering doing this last time I drove up for a game but that was 2012.
Hey fellas, kind of last minute but I'm going to the game against the Habs on the 18th, and I'm looking to take a bus from Argyle Avenue, right by the Museum of nature to the CTC and back. Is there a shuttle bus that goes to the game and back in walking distance of that area?
Interesting appears a few changes from the Sens at CTC as per the STH email. Metal detector's being installed at all entrances and appears re-entry is being eliminated.
Smoker's and beer sneaker in's take notice!

Worst thing ever. Bell Center has had the same rules for last season. Though luck for smokers... Drink more beer, I guess?
