I had a wrap and it was HUGE, really fresh and tasty. I ended up taking half the thing home and any of you who know me know I'm not one to pick at food. $14, really not that badly overpriced when you add in the side item. Somewhat, yes, but I've had worse and paid more downtown. That said, sister was paying for it so I didn't notice the price on alcohol.

I didn't know that about the ownership.

I didn't know that about the ownership. I think I saw that there were a couple of other locations. Can't remember for sure but I think they were San Antonio and Florida. Update, looked them up and now can't find anything about them. Maybe I dreamed it.

The teens was just about 20% of their menu, the rest (other than the kids section) was between $20 and $40.

Was this in the sports bar? That's the only one I went to.

I was primarily listing it so that people would know there's a 24 hr option for late night eaters.

No, that was the regular menu.

The wrap I had had Prince's Hot Chicken in it--I will get the hot version next time but even the mild was good.

Our triple OT win against the Sharks last year happened on Cinco de Mayo (Well technically it ended on the 6th). That was.....an interesting night.

Will be in Nashville from the 19 to 23, got some tickets for a show at ascend theater on the 20th, 7pm, my hotel is in Brentwood. What time should I leave from Brentwood? Also what are the big big traffic time during week days around Nashville?

Dammit there's a show on the 20th? Well crap there goes free parking for the game at Nissan Stadium. But yeah, anyway, welcome to town. Going from Brentwood to downtown isn't a huge hassle but I believe there's a little bit of northbound traffic on 65 because there are quite a few people who commute to work in Brentwood, so then they leave and go home (I used to do this). If you want to be downtown by 6 for example I'd probably leave around 5 just to be safe in case there's any issues on the road. But if you wanna get there early and do things before the show then you can leave whenever and there's rarely afternoon traffic.

Typically rush hour runs between 3:30 and 6:30 depending on the parts of town you're in with the peak times probably going from 4:30 to 6. Again, depending on the area. 440 is a bad road to be on. I-24 is a terrible road to be on. But that's generally outbound traffic so I don't know how much you'll be affected. However, side note, as I kinda mentioned earlier our game 4 is on the 20th so there may be more traffic coming from Brentwood and south of Brentwood heading towards downtown for the game. Game time hasn't been decided yet but with shows and a playoff game, traffic may/probably will increase. Depending on where you live now, Nashville traffic will either seem like nothing or be a complete annoyance. Unless you're going against the flow of it. They say 80 to 100 people move to Nashville every day, so traffic is quite literally getting worse by the week.

Yikes, traffic is pretty much non stop bad. You might breeze into downtown since you're going against the traffic but then get stuck once you encounter the commuters, construction and my favorite--the alternate route. I'd still give myself at least an hour and 15 minutes to be safe. You just never know how it's going to be. There's plenty of stuff to keep you occupied til the concert begins if you luck into a short drive.

As for normal I'm not sure of morning traffic but afternoon rush hour is from 2:30 or so til 6:00, sometimes later if there is an accident but it's usually cleared up a lot by then. I'm fortunate that I don't have to deal with the traffic except infrequently.

That's pretty much my drive for games. 5:45 is safe. If we end up with an early gametime, 5:30 will get you there. Assuming you're gonna' park by the Stadium and not try to get over into the downtown - that can get silly when there is an early game and a concert both when you're coming in 65 from the south.

Don't they just move the Bridgestone Arena parking to like lot D when Ascend has a game? I haven't parked there this year as I moved to the Pinnacle, but last year that's how it was done.

Since is sure looks like you guys very well could be playing when I come around May 5th, where's the best place to watch the games?

There's gonna be 6 of us. Should we try and get right by the arena or stay out of the way a bit?

I'll bet Tavern 96 is a fun place to watch. It's attached to the arena on the convention center side.

If there is a Preds game, they have been putting up a giant screen outside the arena and people have been bringing lawn chairs and watching it there. Good place to watch.

Leave early and go grab a bite at Martin's BBQ before the concert.

Another vote for Martin's. I love and hate that one is downtown now. Love because well, Martin's. Hate because that's the only place I want to eat before the games now.

Is the Nissan Stadium free parking going to be a thing tonight with the Thomas Rhett concert going on at Ascend at the same time?
