Never did it myself. Closest I came was the Back River bridge in Weymouth, which was about 20 feet. But yeah, it's beautiful now. My nephew was supposed to have his wedding there next month, but COVID had something to say about that.
That’s on the Weymouth/Hingham line, right. Never did that one, but that’s a respectable jump. Had to watch for boats, too! Extra danger element!

Pens fan coming in peace, but my sister has been in Boston for about 1.5 weeks so far and loves it compared to here. She’s currently helping with the new Eddie Merlot’s steakhouse in the Seaport district.

The Hub
Two museums that are under the radar but world class are the Fogg Art Museum and the Museum of Natural History, both at Harvard. The Fogg is my favorite small museum in the area. Also check out the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Stunning collection, and the scene of one of the greatest art heists in history.
My wife works 3 blocks from that Harvard (Natural History) Museum. I used to walk by there on the way home from high school. Harvard Law Schools campus is across the street from there. We used to go my their cafeteria and buy snacks on the way home... Made us feel "impotent" lol.

What bar/restaurants would you recommend that are within walking distance of the Seaport District?

Throw a rock and you will hit one. The Seaport is nothing but bars and restaurants. Tamo and The Scorpion Bar are great for Mexican. Strega is high end Italian and is excellent. The Envoy Hotel has an amazing rooftop bar with great views, plus it is heated and has several fire pits.

Appreciate the response. I’ll send that info her way. Thanks.

Thinking about taking a road trip on Easter weekend to try & visit & go to the Bruins game but wondering what the city is like right now as far as covid rules/restrictions? Like hotels, restaurants, masks, the T, testing, filling out forms, etc. Some places have some nutty rules so wondering where Boston is at. TIA.

We just entered Phase III, Step 2 today. Phase IV, Step 1 is scheduled for March 22, if there is no spike. See the link to the Governor's announcement:

What's the proximity/distance of the Seaport District relative to TD Garden? Sounds like an ideal place to stay.

Depending on where you stay in the Seaport, it's around 2 miles. It's a nice walk too, take one of the bridges over the Ft. Point Channel, go past Faneuil Hall, etc. I wouldn't do it in winter, but fall/spring would be nice.

I stay there for work cause my Boston office is there. I take the ferry to the game (my company pays for it!). Gotta find another way back though. Ferry doesn’t run that late. Disembarking:
