With the structure of the contract, it's fine.

Trocheck's contract is tradable and, based on what Strome and Copp signed for, if the Rangers had insisted on 5 years the AAV would have started with a 6. Drury did nice work here.

Trocheck is training with Andrew Schmit in Pittsburgh. There are some clips of Vinnie on Andrew's Instagram page (powerforwardhockey). Early morning skates with other regional pros and elites. These guys go "home" for the summer. The NHL season is basically 9 months of sleepaway camp.
