Injury Report: Vilardi Injury - Out Week to Week

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Does someone have the video of the slew foot on Vilardi just before the empty net goal?
I looked but can't find it anywhere.
I hope its just a minor injury and the Jets are resting players so they are 100% for the playoffs. Also it gives different looks which is good so teams can't scout the Jets for the playoffs.

I was surprised he came back after getting the puck in the face. Tough game for the big guy.

In the meantime it's an opportunity for a foot soldier to make their mark further up the lineup. Kupari was out with concussion protocol he should be ready to resume play.

Here's the clip:

Would love to see Brad Lambert get another top-6 look on the wing.
Agreed.
Id like to see a little more juice infused in the middle 6. Appleton and Nino have not had good second halves.

Something maybe like

Nino-Lowry-Ehlers
Perfetti-Namestnikov-Lambert

Could swap Nino and Perfetti too, so the 3rd line has a bit more size and net front offense, while the second line still maintains that with Lowry.

4th line Barron with 2 of Tanev, Appleton or Gus.

They really should call Lambert up and give him a run before the playoffs to see what it looks like and if it's an option for the playoffs. You know what Gus and Kupari bring.

John Lu mentioned into the playoffs on TSN, but I guess we'll see.

Pretty nasty that it i) occurred in the final seconds of the game and ii) that it was due to a slew foot. Essentially an attempt to injure.

just hope he's back for playoffs, my guess they end up putting ehlers on the top line and nino with names/perfetti after ai on the top line doesn't work

Wouldn't be surprised if Lambert and Coghlan are on the dark horse playoff roster.

I think we see
Ehlers 55 81
Iafallo names Perfetti

Nino is banged up too, would love to see kupari back in and Barron on the wing. Delemo could probably rest too, see how Schenn matches with Morrissey.
