Stars deserved a better result in that 1st period, but they'll break this team open soon enough. The Marlies are pretty much in full shell mode already - just bat the puck out to center ice and pray you can block every shot and your goaltender is there for the ones that get through.

It's cute how much they take after their parent team :)

So the whole team looked out of sorts. Bad decisions by all players. Oleksiak will make one good play then a bad play.

The refs are a whole other story. Seems they're letting everything go except for like the worst offenses near the puck.

Like to see Texas with a little more urgency when it comes to getting pucks on net as soon as they're on their sticks.

hahaha that is such a ******** call. It wasn't a pick, he just chose to let the puck bounce past him to his team-mate.

This one is feeling like game 3 at grand rapids. Everything flying in for them, nothing bouncing our way.

Annddd another turnover where the puck goes straight to a Toronto stick in the slot. 3-0 now.

Stars need to be more direct now and just get pucks at the net. We've given up a ton of opportunities in this game by trying to make skilled plays. Save that **** for when we blow them out 7-0 in game 2 :P
