OT: Video Game Thread Part VIII

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. They're giving out tons of fodder packs if you grind objectives and upgrade sbcs.

I'm going for Gullit so most of my focus is going into that.

Do Balotelli if you have the facilities. Sneaky good. Huge with 99 dribbling.

No he's not actually free lol. Just one of the common base promo cards they stuff in the rotation to make you feel special and actually have a chance at pulling VVD. :laugh:

The CB they dropped today is 5'10 with 99 dribbling. Makes no sense. At least Balotelli's 99 stats make the card usable.

Almost done with baldurs gate 3 honor mode. Have a couple fights left but should be smooth sailing here on out. Super fun to run through again. Played dark urge which really feels like how the game should be played tbh, had a couple of hiccups along the road, and things got really hairy a couple times but I was able to pull through. Also got some new content done that I didn't do the first time in acts 2 and 3 which was fun too.

I grabbed AoE4, Valheim, Against the Storm and Solasta for rainy day stuff. I'm just content killing time in BG3 currently.

Also can't recommend Northgard enough, especially if you can find a poor soul to sucker into it with you.

Haven't stopped playing Against the Storm..since it was released on game pass..really great game

I caved and bought it yesterday. Played a bit before bed. It seems pretty fun, and the art style is amazing. My only qualm is that a lot of the clans are locked behind dlc. Are any of them worth picking up?

I'll have to check next time I'm in front of my pc which ones I have. I know they came out with a few newer ones I sisnt get, but I do remember buying a few.

smh typical stat nerd. The game is played on the ice pitch, not a spreadsheet…

But yeah, the finishing in this game is so much worse than last game. A guy with 90+ finishing, standing in the box, will randomly just miss the entire net for absolutely no reason. It’s crazy.

Not only that. I have an uncanny ability to skill move directly into a perfect slide tackle and no pen (the worst PK user ever too). The amount of times I get tackled clear on goal is impressive as well.

Gotta love the 70 pace CB catching Mbappe :laugh:

I don’t really skill move much. I feel like I cause more problems than I solve when I try them.
