Cool! I haven't played Fifa since like 2001 and even that was awesome. There are few brand new copies on amazon for around $40. Definitely going to pick it up.

The more I wrap my head around the Bioshock ending the less I like it. Then again I've never been a huge parallel universe fan for anything

The ending itself, or the cop out after the credits?

I have a ton of free time this week so am planning to go pick up an XBOX game to kill some time..

I haven't really played much of anything in the past year or so. Any recommendations? I know Bioshock Infinite will be a popular one but I'm looking for more of a Zelda type game (action but with a puzzle solving spin) or a straight up shooter.. Bioshock to me has always felt more like an interactive story and I rarely really pay attention to stories in games.

I've played both Batmans and they're the type of game I'm looking for. Also played all the Assassin's Creeds (i think) and enjoyed those as well.

Maybe Far Cry? Dishonored?

TLDR: basically I'm looking for an action game that actually has a little strategy behind it.. I HATE games like COD where its just senseless shooting, etc. Zelda/Batman are pretty good comparables

I loved Oblivion.. and I have Skyrim but haven't really gotten too much into it.

Just so much to do and I kind of got lost wandering around and have no clue where I'm supposed to go next  I got a bow and arrow and was having fun sniping these big ogres and getting my **** handed to me.. then i spent a few days traveling to random markers on the map only to find no mission

I'm probably going to end up playing that and Bioshock unless someone has my modern day Zelda haha

Guess this is the best thread for this. It looks like the flyer fans are spam voting for Simmonds in the NHL 14 voting (he beat Malkin). I dunno how to really band us together but we need to spam vote for Marty. Can't let the flyers get 2 covers in a row + this is Marty's last chance at a cover. Vote it up!

seems great, until like every other new feature they come up with it happens 7x more often than it really should.

and then gary thorne starts talking about it

 Too true.

New for NHL12 - Broken Sticks!

Get a breakaway and with your first shot of the game, break your stick.

New for NHL12 - Break the glass!

Get hit behind the net by someone over 6'3" and 200 lbs and glass breaks every time.

Best part is when you go for a hit which is merely a glancing blow on the guy (and he doesn't fall or even lose his balance) yet the glass shatters like you put his head through it. Expert level physics.

They need to revamp the passing engine. There are no quick one touch passes and it really makes breakouts and game play slow and sloppy.

The new enforcer engine for NHL 14 looks pretty awesome.

It looks much better but I'm calling the issue it will have right now...

Your going to be forced into fights all the time just because you put a big hit on someone. Guaranteed. So basically your going to have your top pairing big hitting Defenceman in the box a lot.
