I used to play Minecraft for a month or so on PC. After logging an absurd amount of time on an HF server and doing a few things, I lost interest. This is my creation:

I really don't understand the NHL 13 hate. Once you get used to it, it's fine. Not the best, but far from the worst.

The things I hate are the ones that are the most unrealistic about the whole game. I only really play against people online so maybe it's different. I don't feel like everyone is sent flying after a hit. I do get the goalie interference issue though, much different from the previous NHL. I don't think it's that bad. It has much room for improvement but I just believe the talk of it as one of the worst is a bit overblown.

I have no problem with that play. If you let a pass go through the crease you deserve to be down a goal.

From a club perspective...my issues are the brick wall goalies, hitting physics (horse collar tackles) and the fact that you can set picks by just running into people who don't have the puck.

In the conversation of NHL 08-13, I think it's the worst game in that stretch by far.

I had Mike Smith for a while and he did really well, much better than Brodeur and Hedberg did in their final few years. He's not young, but he's younger.

I don't actually make them that good, I just try to put some good prospects in the game for a few years since most prospects suck in this game. Most of the time I'm not even the team that drafts them.

I only do the quick matches against random opponents. The hitting doesn't bother me but to be honest I'm usually hammered when I'm playing so that could be the reason

Yeah, that could make a big difference. When I used to play NHL 10 (or 11) with friends while drunk, I used to feel like I was superman with how quick and unbeatable I felt I was.... Turns out on multiple occasions the person I was playing against passed out in the middle of the game, which really explained how dominant I played...

The debate will be endless on which system is "Better" but having used both, and being a movie guy and HD geek, the PS3 with built-in blu-ray player and free network for online gaming imo is the better option.

Streaming and downloaded content is the future though, so either system will do if you want to pay for movies and games that way.

I think most people that play NHL13 on the Devils forum are PS3 folks. I'd guess it's about a 70/30 split in favor of Sony over Microsoft right now.

If anyone is looking for a good game, the new "Tomb Raider" is brilliant. One of my top 10 or possibly even top 5 games I've ever played.

Fantastic controls, brilliant graphics (especially on PC), perfect animation where you really feel like everything in the game impacts Lara, great story with some truly empowering moments in a great character arc. Can't recommend the game highly enough.
