If you are into games where you get to explore, solve puzzles and generally feel clever I can highly recommend Blue Prince. It's the best feeling clever game since Return of the Obra Dinn or Outer Wilds.

I learned a neat trick the other day, Steam has a built-in notepad now with some nice features. You can create and same multiple notes, and even pin them with varying opacity if you want too. Very handy for this game.

This leak was such a fun surprise, I loved this game. The remaster immediately jumped to #1 on my list of games I'm going to play when hockey is over.

TES is my all time favorite series so I'll be throwing money at my screen when this drops. I just hope it performs well but Unreal Engine 5 and Gamebryo is a special hell made for especially naughty CPUs.

i'm glad to see it was oblivion, morrowind's modding scene is crazy and i'd hate for that to get cut off "young" for the sake of a graphics update

I love Morrowind and think it has some of the best worldbuilding in any medium but it would take a lot more effort to modernize it for the expectations of a post-Skyrim audience. With Oblivion it's closer, you update visuals make archery feel closer to Skyrim, update melee animations and you're good to go. Morrowind has wikipedia styled dialogue, dice roll combat, slow movement, no waypoints, etc. It would require more of a remake than a remaster. I'd love to see Morrowid with modern visuals.

It's crazy how I have more interest and enjoyment playing a remastered Oblivion and GTAV (that was released on game pass last week) than i do playing the new Assassins Creed. AC Shadows is great, but I can't step away from playing thru GTAV one last time and Oblivion now.

I can't believe Square never did anything else with Legend of Dragoon. That was my favorite RPG as a kid. I'm definitely going to check this one out. On gamepass too, which is nice.

I hate when franchises switch protagonists. This game doesn't excite me at all, and I played the shit out of the first one.

Hot take - GTA5 didn't do anything for me. I think the only game on Steam I ever refunded. Didn't even beat the first mission. Controls were just garbage. 4 was fun though
