GUYS THIS IS LITERALLY PERFECT
this is a barely below average team riding ****** luck to the absolute bottom of the standings in the PERFECT year to do it.
this is the best thing that we could have hoped for this season.
we really are not that bad. we've outshot and outplayed so many teams and just haven't gotten the bounces. i pray this continues til april.

Kidding aside, I'd much rather see McDavid here than Edmonton.
Give a decent return and we'd be more than happy to send him your way if he doesn't re-sign by the deadline. Be warned, there will be a bidding war.
Agreed. The second best part about this (aside from McEichel) is that Peters is establishing a system that works, or at least would work if this team had talent in the right places.

Yeah, he's got, like, three goals this season. None have been on an opposing goalie, but he's got the process down at least.

His WOWY's this year are difficult to judge because he's played almost exclusively with Faulk. And we give GMs too much credit. If Sekera goes on a bender where he scores 5 goals in 3 weeks some ******* is going to give up the farm for him.

He's a 53% corsi against top competition this year which is real real good.
Not his fault his on ice sv% is .838.

Well he has put 3 goals into his own net, which I believe contributes to that poor on ice SV%.
Sort of unrelated, has a team ever scored on itself as much as the Canes have this season. It's almost like they are trying to make it look like they aren't tanking while obviously scoring on themselves.
