This can't be an official Leafs account...

Maple Leafs
‪@mapleleafs.bsky.social‬

F Max Domi has been downgraded from “literally invisible” to “he was hurt all along” and subsequently placed on IR (lower body) retroactive to November 16.

Big huge stud F Nikita Grebenkin has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

They don't have an official Bluesky account last I checked so definitely not.

Well Goodluck to the Marlies tonight against a really good team. Hopefully Marner at C to see what we got. I would suggest putting Minten with Grebs and Steeves. They have good chemistry together

I'd like to see Robertson with them, as the lines are expected to be. It will be a fun line.

This is a game we have no business winning, with this lineup... could be fun to watch though.

Berube did say Marner to C is possible, I assume same goes for Nylander.

Leafs still have Holmberg, Lorentz and Dewar as capable centers as well. Maybe they try Minten in a big time role?

He said it, but if you watched the clip he's laughing the entire time.

He's not serious

Woll needs to have a real good game today.

Not Stolarz?

The next little while hinges on the dcore, nylander, Marner, Tavares, maybe knies and the goalies

We need them to be superb in all facets of the game because we are missing so many pieces.

and yet, Marner is practicing faceoffs this morning.... We'll see... Could have been laughing at how many injuries there is, and the thought of needing Marner is a bit ridiculous.

It's Woll, not Stolarz.

We also need the depth to actually do something.

Hopefully nobody else gets hurt today.... otherwise next week we'll be reading... .Leafs recall from the Cincinnati Cyclones.....

I don’t think they will. I’ve been immensely disappointed with Robertson and Holmberg. McMann is good, but he isn’t any sort of play driver, he needs the others to be going for him to do anything. We have 2 fourth lines, where our actual fourth line (Lorentz-Minten-Grebyenkin) is actually better than our 3rd line.

We need nylander Marner to go McDrai mode, we need Tavares to play up to his capabilities, we need the dcore to be spectacular and we need the goalies to be sturdy and no softies.

I don't see a guy as a center just because he takes some faceoffs.

nobody would call Zach Hyman a center but he took faceoffs on the PK when he was here.

As for Woll he better have the game of his life because it feels like half the roster is out.

I like getting ahead of myself, that way I know how far off I was when I'm behind myself ...

The Hound line.

Oct. 10, 1985 - Hound Line Debuts - Toronto Maple Leafs Centennial Timeline

Hound Line Debuts

During the 1985-86 season, the famous Hound Line would skate for the first time.
Comprised of Gary Leeman, Russ Courtnall and Wendel Clark, they earned the name, as all three had once played for the Notre Dame Hounds of Wilcox Saskatchewan.

Minton was not given any time to work into the lineup. Instead, he was thrown right into the fire on a line by Steeves and Grebenkin. He was also put on top of the power play unit. As you might expect from a player who hadn’t played since mid-September, Minton’s timing was a little off early in the first game. However, the Minton/Steeves/Grebenkin line was dominant in game #2. Minton was impressive in the second game in how he skated with the puck and his shot. He could have easily had a goal or two. He rang one shot off the post and missed the net, another glorious chance.

So they've recalled Grebenkin ...
