You Jet fans are fickle. Of course they can win 3 games. It all starts Sunday. Hellybucyk has to be benched though. Vegas and Fleury have gotten some many crazy bounces and luck the last 2 games. Did Chicago quit when they were 3 down? They went on to win the cup remember?

The officiating makes it impossible to come from behind in the playoffs. You can hook and hold as much as you want in the 3rd period of a close game. Nothing is going to be called.

We aren't winning if Helle doesn't find his game, starting Mason solves nothing, it's Helle or bust.

Unless we get Lucky . . . it's mostly luck after all although some of it is goal tending

Does Hellebuyck deserve a huge contract because of one great season.

I am not a big fan of his arrogant interviews even after he loses when he sounds so full of himself.

Yeah. Hellebuyck has always struck me as a bit too cocky in interviews. He never owns it when he plays a bad game. So long as he was backing it up with stellar play it was tolerable but to say he liked his game better than Fleury’s after game 3 was not cool IMO. I wonder what he says in today's post game interview?

I’m still wondering who’s the real Hellebuyck. 2016/17 and Vegas series Helle? Or 2017/18 regular season Helle? Is he just fatigued now or did his hot streak just last longer than Hutch’s? Is he the Hamburglar (who’s a third stringer in Colorado now isn’t he?) or is he a legit Vezina caliber goalie?

Game 5 will say something about this but won’t fully answer. He’s still young. A bit big for his britches maybe.

If he can just play over .900 for three in a row though we can win 3 and go to the SCF.

Really tough loss. In my view this game was all on goaltending, Fleury’s amazing goaltending versus Helle’s Pavlecian goaltending. Really really discouraging loss.

That said, Jets can definitely win three in a row against VGK but they need much better goaltending to do it. But if Helle starts playing the way he did much of the season and the rest of the team plays like they played last two games we can do it. Even if Fleury continues to stand on his head.

Hellybucyk is done. We are out next game if they play him. Mason time. Before the playoffs began I had this worry that Hellybucyk wouldn't last the entire playoffs. Too young and inexperienced when the pressure is really on. Before this series he had amazing games and a few bad ones but overall was just fine. However in this series the pressure has gotten to him.

No matter what happens we made it this far kids. We should be proud. Let's build on it!

I want to agree. But look at Nashville, Edmonton, Anaheim, Ottawa, etc. From last year.

You get a shot. You're not given anything more.

That said, I do believe Jets have a bright future so my post is a net zero

I can't bring myself to s*** all over the team and give up on them like a lot of you people here.

As long as they bring effort like they have the past couple of games, there's always a chance.

Boom. We're not out of it yet guys and gals. The fat lady has not yet sung. She's holding the microphone. It's up to the Jets now to keep her silent.

This team made it to the WCF. I'm not going to count them out until it's over and done. One way, or another. We can win 3 in a row.

All the Jets can do and worry about is the next game, focus on a win play hard in front of the home crowd and absolutely destroy the Knights on the scoreboard and on the ice.

series is not over... jets have looked absolutely dominant when they had to...2 of the 3 remaining games are at home....but there is no question helle has to play significantly better considering how dominant fleury has been.

I dont know why the Jets wait until the third period to turn it on...they need to play with that urgency out of the gate....ehlers looked good in the 3rd...was flying all over the place....the jets arent a perfect team and have some holes but do you think vegas has more talent? not a chance. Jets are blowing an incredible opportunity to play in the stanley cup finals.
Cinderella teams like vegas do not win the stanley cup. They always fall short. At some point reality will kick in for them. The question is will it happen in the conference finals or the stanley cup finals?

Ducks bad but the series isn't over yet. There may still be some fight left in these guys. Rough feeling though.

Lots of fight, game 5 is ours.

I fully believe Jets win Game 5 by a large margin (all the pressure is on Knights) so now Maurice & co. should figure out how they will beat Vegas in Game 6. Imho it will boil down how Jets start Game 6 and they MUST score the first goal. Getting back-to-back wins and heading back home for Game 7 should give advantage back to Jets.

Yes, thats a happy problem, one I'm willing to try on for size.

I am stunned that this Jets team are not fighting in this game or playing more physical.

They look like they have given up and do not care which is a real head scratcher when you are this close to the Stanley Cup final..

We got Mason he ain't chopped liver. Give him a chance what do we have to lose? How many times in series have you seen a goalie change, and the goalie has been on fire and the team goes a long way.
