The last game of a series is obviously super important. And a good list of numbers shows a goalie is a "closer".

But it's also a bit misleading. A team could be up 3-0 in a series, and the goalie could put up 3 stinkers in a row without those games showing up on these lists.
As usual, size matters. If it's 1-2 games it doesnt mean a lot. But if its more than 15 last games - it can be one of the stats you use to evaluate a player

More like best goalie of all-time. Still wouldn't rank him ahead of Roy, Brodeur or Hasek but he could pass these guys as soon as next year.
I have no idea how you can say he's close to passing any of those guys, let alone next year.

Even if he wins the Vezina + Smythe + Stanley Cup next year he still has a ways to go before he gets close. I'm not saying he can't, but you can simply look at their resumes and see how big of a hill he needs to climb.
