3 goals allowed in four games against the team who scored the most in the cap era?

Vasif***inglevskiy

This was the only game he was a factor all series if you ask me. Florida barely generated anything offensively and by that I mean shots that you'd expect an NHL goaltender might not let in.

He should of played the final games of 2015 but Cooper had to be arrogant and deny Bishop was clearly hurt

More like best goalie of all-time. Still wouldn't rank him ahead of Roy, Brodeur or Hasek but he could pass these guys as soon as next year.
Er, OK :laugh::laugh:

He is somewhere in the Dryden category now (he passed Smith).

Yes. Their goalie helped them stay in a game they got vastly outplayed in. Vasi was barely tested in comparison.

I take Igor all day.
Both Tampa goals were saveable.

He already is a HOF even if his career ended right now.

Actually, he's entering the conversation of best goalie all time with these performances in the playoffs.
Come on. One Vezina + one Conn Smythe + two 1AST are barely above Billy Smith.

Cmon now... dude is already 14th all-time in playoff wins and is still only 27 years old. Very likely he wins his 2nd Conn Smythe which would put him in very elite company. Only Roy would have more.
Also 3 Stanley Cups would tie Brodeur and only Roy would have more.

His regular season stats are still lacking compared to the all-time great but that is because he just hasn't played enough games yet.
But when you are THIS good in the playoffs, I wouldn't care about regular season stats too much.

Another cup will definitely have him on the fast track to being a HOF. A CS again will cement him as 1st ballot.

Even if TB doesn't win the SC this year he is a lock for the HHOF.

His 7 year prime in the regular season and playoffs is already that good.

That's the thing: his playoff record is up there with the best of them. But the true all-time greats have playoff AND the RS. He only has ONE Vezina. Dryden has FIVE (I know that Vezinas meant a different thing but still then), along with a Conn Smythe, a Calder, five 1AST, one 2AST, and six Cups.

For Roy and Brodeur, just being the starter for that many playoff series in their careers is super impressive

The last game of a series is obviously super important. And a good list of numbers shows a goalie is a "closer".

But it's also a bit misleading. A team could be up 3-0 in a series, and the goalie could put up 3 stinkers in a row without those games showing up on these lists.
