Any team have shown interest in moving up ?

Canucks are looking to add more prospects and picks to their system.

There are teams with multiple picks in the first 2 rounds. Any interest in trading Quantity for Quality?

Still stuck in Forum 40
The AZ Coyotes would.
About a month ago I proposed a late 1st & Soderstrom for the Canucks' 1st, but can't justify trading Soderstrom with the bad luck he's had this past season.

This has Montreal written all over it. They need quality prospects over quantity and Gorton has shown a willingness to trade up in the past.

There will definitely be a very good prospect available at 15th. If MTL is even willing, they can draft one of the talented Russians with top 5 talent that will surely drop. It wouldnt be a bad choice for MTL who has multiple first and 2nds.

Realistically tho, 15th should have one of the stud forwards or dmen for USNDT, talented russian, WHL Dmen.

I wouldn't do that. Maybe Vancouver wants to stock up as much as possible, but going from #15 to just second and 3rd round picks seems pretty bad.

If bischel is there at 15 I could see ducks doing Boston 1st Pitt 2nd, and Vancouver throws back a 3rd to have

San Diego
Just for reference, some comparable draft day trade downs:

2006: 16 : 20+53
2007: 16 : 19+42
2008: 15 : 18+70
2009: 16+77 : 26+37+62+92 (ended up becoming 21+56)
2010: 15 : 19+59
2012: 14 : 21+42

And obligatory disclaimer that teams usually trade down with the idea that they'd still be in a position to draft the guy they would have taken had they stayed put. Sometimes there seems to be a notion that if you offer enough "draft capital" that a team would absolutely trade down and that works better for the NFL than NHL.
