While the Blues goalies were getting ice time IIRC.Well completely losing out on a year of development was probably a pretty bad idea.
Thanks Jimbo.

We've seen many 6feet goalies succeed in the NHL. Halak is one of, and of course our very own Captain Kirk. Of course we cannot expect him to be Captain Kirk all of a sudden. but man.......
Highmore, Lammiko and Motte should get more ice time and Chiasson should kindly f*** off.
That was a bad goal but this isnt on DiPietro. We have a depleted lineup and despite carrying the play we just dont have the horses to eke this out. Perhaps they can in the third but this is too high a hill to climb with the forward unit we have right now.
Proud of the guys for how they came out and fought in the first. Win the third and come out proud.
And hopefully get some regulars back...ffs
probably a good idea given they usually take 5 yrs to be readyI think we draft a goalie in this draft.
It's quite entertaining. No complaints except for the score. Nucks don't deserve to be down 2.Probably Canucks best game of the season too.
That wasn’t a great goal but I’m not ready to declare Gina complete bust quite yet. I want to see him get a decent run at the AHL that isn’t interrupted by covid and injury after coming off a year with barely any hockey.
Hog has been good but frantic once he gets a chance. Needs to slow down and think sometimesHighmore and Motte have been the two best players on the ice aside from the St. Louis goalie.
Bure really?I freaking love Kirk McLean. Him and Bure are my all time favorite Canucks.
Yeah.. I don't think Mikey's got what it takes. We have 3 AHL goalies and have been doing some weird three-headed hydra rotation with them which has hurt everyone. I think it'd be a mistake to invest the rest of the season into DiPietro - he has too many technical deficiencies, is slow, and plays small in the net. His development has already been messed up (and partly, he just doesn't have the talent) - Silovs is 2 years younger, bigger, and doesn't have as many technical flaws. They need to cut bait with DiPietro and make a decision before they also ruin Silovs' development as well.
hes just gotta hit the net and slow down coming out of his own zone to make the right playHog has been good but frantic once he gets a chance. Needs to slow down and think sometimes
