No one in the league has done that, not even all time greats like Ovi and Crosby.

Ovechkin has. There's 2 years where he kinda struggled and didn't seem to care that much from 2010-11 to 2011-12 but other than that he's been a 50 goals scorer.

Stamkos has been a perenial 40-50 goals scorer.

Of course players get injured and miss games...

Crosby is not a goal scorer in the Stamkos/Ovechkin mold. Laine is.

Also none of the afore mentionned players have produced at the international level as 17 year olds like Laine has.

Ovechkin did not do it, that's what happened. If Ovi couldn't do it, I don't think anybody can score 400 in ten years in this era.
