Still 2 periods to fall apart with a tired D, but I have to say despite everything that's happened it still brings a little extra smile on my face to lay demoralizing beating on the canucks.

Pearson continues to impress me with his confidence, speed and skill shot. When he has the puck on his stick and his eyes on the other end of the ice, you know something good is going to happen.

Last year, this team would have quit and gone home. This year this team is making a habbit of stinking up the 1st period, and coming storming back in the 2nd and 3rd. Probably not sustainable in the long term, but this team at least has confidence when starting the second trailing. I guarantee a much better effort from the Canucks coming up.

true and add that to the fact that staples ice has always been on the sucky side... this actually might play into the kings' hands for the remaining 40 min

For sure. The less the Sedins can use their skill and the more the puck is bouncing will definitely favor the kings.

We came in like a wrecking ball...

Keep this one for future use.

Exactly. Nice to take the lead early, but have to keep Corsi-ing, or it's gonna get ugly. 5 d-men can't stay hemmed in our zone all night. Canucks were smart to just pound it in early and often and we were just lucky to break around them a few times. It'll wear us down over the course of the game if we're not sharper.

See above. I imagine the same.

Doughty is on pace for playing 33 minutes tonight..

Scary, but the big question is who comes in second with 25+ minutes...Muzzin/Martinez?

Between the ice and the lighting...home rink advantage :sarcasm:

Just need some clock shenanigans for the classless trifecta

What the hell is Doughty doing below the goal line in the offensive zone with a 3 goal lead and 5 D? Sometimes I swear he's got rocks between his ears.

I fully support Muzzin spinning one way, seeing the open man is Greene, and spinning back to nothingness

Meh don't think DD should be changing his game. It was an offensive chance then battle.
