who needs a 6th defenseman, just score way more then your opponent and the D will take care of itself. ;)
 
I don't think it's any coincidence that our transition suddenly looks crisp and quick and one of our slow, plodding defenseman is out injured.

This team desperately needs a puck mover on every pairing. Doughty was out there 11 minutes in that period and Martinez 8. We can't throw out pairings like ****ing Mcnabb-Greene and expect to have anything resembling a good transition game.

Dean is watching this game closely, I feel.

Martinez had a very impressive 1st period, to my eye. He is holding his own.

To be honest I feel we are watching 2 different games. Kings were stuck in their own zone way too much, but the kings forwards are doing a much better job passing. Having RR in would not have changed things imo.
