No state taxThis is definitely overpayment considering what Frosling got.
Sure.Yeah watching Hughes and Hronek pairing vs Edmonton was like watching two kids fighting fully grown adults. Hronek seemed content at the beginning of the game and end. But to each their own. He looks average. Real analysis will happen when he isn't paired with Hughes.
Hronek worth 7.25 mill. No.Sure.
Thank you for admitting you have no "real analysis" to offer.
I'm going on the assumption that Mikheyev is 100% gone which gives them 31 million in cap8 after Guentzel
Ya it's not as good as that stellar best value contract in the league Nurse, the 5 million Jack ECHL deal and the millions in overage for Brown but Alvin's still a rookie and not at the level of the Uber GM Kenny boy..As an Oiler fan, I approve of this deal
Shhhh it goes against market avg analysis. How great does the Forsling deal look already?
Again, this isn't analysis.Hronek worth 7.25 mill. No.
Judging him on his 2nd half where he was literally not shooting the puck able to engage in puck battles is a bit unfair.I thought theyd look at the rough 2nd half and playoffs and decide to move him for assets and sign others.
Dude overachieves like the entire Canucks team this season because of a stupidly high shooting percentage and he cashed in. Awful contract.Holy overpayment Batman!
I'd much rather pay Hronek $7.25m than Zadorov $6m. Good trade off for Vancouver if those were the choices.Guess they're out on Zadorov now
He was injuredI thought he was horrible in the playoffs.
Actually since one was injured to begin the season and the other later in the season their splits make perfect sense.Montour's first 25 games: 7 points
Montour's next 62 games: 36 points
Hronek's first 25 games: 25 points
Hronek's next 68 games: 25 points
Hronek faded massively after an early hot streak, Montour did the opposite.
Montour should get more. Much better player.
All I see here is if you ignore the part where he played bad he was goodJudging him on his 2nd half where he was literally not shooting the puck able to engage in puck battles is a bit unfair.
I look at the fact he was putting up big numbers in Detroit before injuring his shoulder and picking up right where he left off this year.
In fairness if you just stat watch without context him falling off a cliff would look alarming.
