Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I'm not so sure about top 10 but maybe if one is including your first 2 picks from the 21 draft who have split time in Nashville this year and in the monir still?
What I see is quantity and not very much high end quality in the system.

Bad for Nashville. We have three 1sts this year and it's a weak draft. We're not trading Forsberg for a 1st and Lekkermaki and then adding ROR.
L'Hereux and Svechkov? Yes im including them, they're still in their rookie year.
Somehow I doubt that Nashville would get excited by this even with Boser signed and many Canucks fans wouldn't want this either.
Does that make it a fair offer?
Maybe on paper.

No disrespect but I'd rather have Foraberg and Misa/Hagens than Boeser and Misa/Hagens. I suspect other Nashville fans feel the same.
As an objective and neutral observer, this deal seems too lopsided for the Preds. Too much youth coming out of Vancouver who is not really a contender to be doing such a thing. Adding those two forwards helps for sure, but Vancouver cannot mortgage the future on a deal like this
You're underrating Forsberg. Vancouver only really gives up Lekkermaki in this deal and they're getting a PPG forward who just had a 48G/96P season last year. This deal doesn't do anything for Nashville.
I don’t see why the Canucks would gut their pipeline and draft picks like this. They are farther away from a cup than Forsberg.
I guess they need to try something though. More than likely in that no man’s land currently where if they manage to get a wildcard spot they will get steam rolled or just miss the playoffs.

If the Canucks aren't willing to move Willander or Lekkermaki for Forsberg, then its an easy forget about it situation.
Not a chance Canucks sniff Forsberg without one of them coming back with it.
Also the Preds are in a situation they probably don't mind a cap dump coming back if it means the package is even better. They actually would prefer it that way.

I'm super wary about Rakell. Having a good season, but he's not that far removed from just looking like an empty jersey...and there's a pretty significant commitment to him contractually going forward. Three more years after this one at $5M on a guy who is already on the wrong side of 30 and has had some underwhelming seasons already...that's kind of uncomfortable.
May well be one of the "best" forwards realistically available for what the Canucks can afford to pay in trade though.
Throwing in Hoglander would kind of soften some of the cap commitment at least.

Why would Vancouver do this?
Crosby doesn’t make Vancouver a playoff contender, his greatest attribute is going to be his marketability as he’s still the face of the NHL. Even that isn’t overly appealing as Vancouver is still a larger market that doesn’t have issues drawing fans.
He’s also not getting traded for 4 1st round picks.

I did, though it's a shame that wasn't a binding agreement with a mistake in it for the Canucks sake.
The number of people who consistently mix these two up...it'd be a goldmine.In any case, actual Willander is basically the only virtually "untouchable" prospect in the Canucks pool. Getting him in there and playing as a Top-4D on a cheap ELC is just way too important.
Lekkerimaki is also pretty important, but he's a guy who would actually potentially be available if it were to bring in a reasonable-aged Top-6F that fits the timeline and the needs of Canucks the way Buchnevich would. Probably not enough and i'm not exactly sure what else would have to be involved...but Lekkerimaki+ for Buchnevich is something that i could see working as a framework for a deal. Buch would be perfect with Pettersson. There's also implicit in that sort of deal, the idea that Canucks could either move Boeser directly, or move him somewhere else for some other assets that St Louis might covet.
I'd want more if I was Nashville. I'd demand Tom Willander be added/included in that.
