No way the Panthers trade Lundell for someone older. Lundell has some great playoff experience and performs very well for the Panthers.

Per Friedman, Trotz isn't shopping him at all. Rather, if anybody does call about O'Reilly, Trotz is telling them that he is being treated as a star player with a NMC. So he would need both O'Reilly's buy-in PLUS an insane trade return. Neither of which are going to be forthcoming. We don't really need another O'Reilly thread to re-hash that.

Trotz severely overrates his own players and still gets burned in trades. Make it make sense.

at the TDL, likely won’t matter, not many games, half those are on the road, where he would be taxed in the city he plays in.
I don’t see Florida giving up Lundell.
I'd do that quick but like porter said the chance trotz trades orielly is as close the zero as you can get. Trotz is delusional

He was trying to get a trade return, but Waddell saw right through him and just waited him out.
That one move alone basically swapped my impressions of both GMs involved - went from "significant concerns" for Waddell and "cautious optimism" for Trotz to the other way 'round. The gap has only been widening further since.
