Bratt and 3x 1st rounds for Quinn
or
Nucks can offer Petterson (retain like 25-30%)+2x 1st for Jack Hughes

He’s probably not re-signing. Either accept your losses with Hughes and blow it up now or go all-in (trade prospects and the 1st) and try to win in the next two years.Trading Quinn we don't win any trade.
Agree with all of this but Hogs isn't a top 6 player.Ooh if Detroit offers this I would do it. Maybe a separate deal around Petey for Larkin?
But I would do this Hughes deal.
DeBrusk - Petey - Raymond
Hoglander - Kasper - Lekkerimaki (all that upside)
...
M. Petey - Hronek (hopefully Filip can be the #1 offensive D)
Edvinsson - Myers (new shutdown duo)
Nemec and Silayev is tempting if Hughes is in danger of being Matt Tkachuk but the Russian factor.Man, even the NY POST is in on it
Mercer, 1st
Choice of: Gritsyuk or Silayev
Choice of: Casey or Nemec

I don’t think there’s a chance Quinn is moved this summer. The overall package makes sense to me though. Ideally to me you’d be able to move Dougie without needing to use Vancouver and would instead use Vancouver to retain on Palat and reroute him to a 3rd team.
Has he come right out and said he is not resigning or are we just assuming. All I have ever heard him say is he wants to win. He’s probably not re-signing. Either accept your losses with Hughes and blow it up now or go all-in (trade prospects and the 1st) and try to win in the next two years.
He apparently hasn’t even said anything to Canucks’ management about playing alongside his brothers, JR was just speculating that could be a motivating factor for him if the Canucks can’t turn things around quickly.Has he come right out and said he is not resigning or are we just assuming. All I have ever heard him say is he wants to win.
I think next season will be a factor then. This management team better get on it..He apparently hasn’t even said anything to Canucks’ management about playing alongside his brothers, JR was just speculating that could be a motivating factor for him if the Canucks can’t turn things around quickly.
