Don’t worry we won’t trade him to Edmonton. He’ll come back and play with the acsI imagine Avs keep him as they'll get pesos on the dollar for him given the circumstance.

Nuke has had three stints on AWOL since the 2023 playoffs. He’s very obviously sketchy off the ice. It’s odd because he’s such a gentleman on the ice. I say that sincerely. He’s a very clean and low profile player. Not being able to prove something criminal happened doesn't mean something criminal didn't happen. Not really arguing that he should be criminally charged, but the incident is very sketchy and raises eyebrows regardless.
He’s our 4th best player. And we have three of the NHLs best 10 players according to Sportsnet. They need him.
He had all that on the line last time too.Coke only stays in your system for a few days. You don’t get caught through testing usually you get caught in the act. I’d take every cent I own and put it on Nuke never getting caught again if i could double my money. To think she gets caught again is crazy to me with what he has on the line
Nobody is mixing coke with fentanyl on purpose. Nobody.QFT but I’d say ridding yourself of the people you did coke with is even more important then not drinking, although not drinking more than a few to the point of losing judgement is also a pretty big trigger. Even then, if you don’t have easy access you’re probably fine (unfortunately, probably a millionaire athlete will always have easy access).
I find it hard to believe most coke dealers want fetenyl addicts as clients. Also, the mixing issue already mentioned.
maybe it has nothing to do with coke at allwhy are you so sure its just coke? nowadays, (i hear) many mix in trace amounts of more physically addictive agents (like Fentanyl) to really hook you both ways.... as the others noted, he has 6+ million to quit, but can't, ....maybe its more than just coke?
He didn’t tho. He got a slap on the wristHe had all that on the line last time too.
You don’t throw away a player like him when you’re all in.They really dont
Nuke without the off ice issues, 100% we need that. The Nuke we got the past 2 playoffs though, rather 6M going elsewhere, but it is what it isThey really dont
Six month suspension is a slap on the wrist? He didn’t tho. He got a slap on the wrist
One of the best players on the team plus the Avs are a small team and very much need a power forward like NukeThey really dont
Kinda. Compared 10 yearsSix month suspension is a slap on the wrist?
In the winter? Heck we spent millions on battery powered ones that don't work in the summerHealthy Nuke is one of the best power forwards in the NHL. Even though he's as dependable as a city bus in winter, he's so damn good when he's on, that the Avs just have to hope he's in a good place at some point during the season.
For a supposed 6 month suspension he is only going to miss 6-8 weeks of actual pay due to the timing of his suspension. In that sense, yes it’s a slap on the wrist.Six month suspension is a slap on the wrist?
