Not sure how I feel about going as yet. If numbers keep going up I'll probably just dump tickets.
Going to be a shit show getting in when everyone has to show proof though.

So also applies to Raps and FC.
Not sure how much a PCR test costs in Canada, but a friend from US, paid $119 US for a test before crossing the border. So it won’t be cheap for unvaccinated to attend. Agree with policy.

I'm anal about potential delays making me late for stuff, so if I go it's gonna be at the front of that line and I'm gonna end up sauced by puck drop

Everyone thought that in Winnipeg as well. Game 1 was a bit chaotic and added a couple of minutes to get in as staff and people get used to it, but by Game 2 the Bombers had no noticeable difference between this year and 2019. In reality it just means the staff has to scan codes twice instead of once, the same bottle neck exists. And that was for 30K people, none of the MLSE events get that high since the stadiums are smaller (EDIT: Nvm, Skydome is bigger. I was thinking BMO Field and Air Canada Center. And yes I know the names are outdated, I can't keep up with the changing names of stadiums/rinks).

Bombers have set up secondary entry spots for out of province visitors though. That might be the stumbling block as I don't know if Ontario has set up for vaccine checks? Here in Manitoba we get a QR code to prove vaccine status through the provincial website and can request a physical card with the QR code on it if we want.

But done right it won't add anything to line up times other than maybe the first game for Argos, Blue Jays, Leafs, TFC, etc. And it really makes everyone feel so much better. In the grocery stores, etc where mask mandates have been dropped here like 90+% of people are still masking, keeping distance, etc. At sporting events where we can guarantee every one is vaxxed like only 20% mask (I support masks still for now, just using this as proof of how everyone feels more relaxed), everyone is having a great time, the peace of mind that risks are lowered are great for everyone. This is a great thing for Toronto sports fans.

Good.

I hope this means they're allowed to operate at capacity. That said, given the way things are, I doubt we see the building full for a bit, since having thousands of people pile out of the arena and cram themselves onto the TTC with other commuters (several of home are probably unvaccinated) probably isn't the best idea.

Not going to be full capacity, when the Jays in an outdoor venue are limited to 15,000. What’s that 30% capacity outside.

Wonder how they'll manage that to keep people spread out?
My seats are 3/4, will 1/2, 5/6 be empty and they'll alternate games like that?

Could bel ike the jays who closed the upper bowl and piled everyone in side by side in the lower bowl

Also doesn’t say if PCR or rapid test
Rapid about 40 bucks
Cheapest PCR $159 bucks, more for same day results

in reality manitoba government is a bit more forward thinking (HOW??) and we don't really have any real proof of vaccination process (HOWWWW)

we're like 50 steps behind and kind of hoping that the federal government solution will be good enough.

there's no infrastructure in place for this right now and it's frustrating... we had all the time in the world to prepare and we didn't.

Just make it mandatory vaccinations except for kids under 12.

Why except for kids under 12?

Either follow protocols that you think are needed to keep the public safe or don't.

I don't understand the exceptions for people who are not eligible for the vaccine, are the health measures to ensure public safety or to punish the unvaccinated?
