Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.

i caught the game yesterday and it was the first time i watched any significant amount this year. I gotta say i was pleasantly surprised.

Fred seems to be less focused on his shot and looking to pass more. Very nice. I got a little nervous at the end when they decided to trade 3's, but credit to them for their effort on defense. Was great to see all the timely double teaming of harden.

I like Koloko a lot. Seems to have been a crafty draft pick.

That game was a ton of fun to watch. Looking forward to tomorrow night, I expect PHI to be out for blood after last night and will be interesting to see how the Raps respond.

Can't imagine a certain other Toronto president or GM having the guts to call out an official when it's deserved. Props to Masai, best leader I've seen for a sports team in this city in my life

I saw this today

This has to be taken in context. The kid is getting absolutely ZERO respect from the officials so far in his young career, the reffing is atrocious

I'm digging the new scheduling format with the back-to-back games against the same team.
+1

If there's any downside to this at all, I'm not seeing it. Hope to see it in the NHL next season and can't understand why we haven't had this for decades already.

As I've seen said in comments elsewhere, there is a hell of a lot of smoke around this, pointing to a serious, serious fire. The Spurs are not the sort of org to just cut bait on a rookie just after picking up his option while he's been playing pretty decently and then not commenting on the release at all unless something very significant happened off the court that precipitated it. Something looks like it's made Primo basically radioactive otherwise they would've just traded him.

Something still seems a little fishy. You don't generally get released to sort out your mental health and off court issues.

Spurs are an odd organization lately, they waived Samanic almost as quickly last season (for poor work ethic). If its a personal mental health issue, why waive him? Give him a leave of absence. Then trade him. They cut ties immediately which suggests an incident between him and the team/organization. No info could indicate its an embarrassing situation of some kind.

If its not too serious, Raps need to cut dead wood on their bench and claim him. He's got a lot of promise. But knowing this team, they won't.

For the Spurs to cut him it's likely something more serious than just his mental health. The player is likely trying to get ahead of whatever is going to come out

Yeah... that's not good and all of this makes sense now. The Spurs cut him because they want nothing to do with this and Primo himself posted that "mental health issue" tweet to try and get ahead of things and position himself better (which I'd argue he's not going to do given the nature of the accusations).

The linked article contains no more information on the accusations than what is said in the tweet, plus a rehash of all the prior statements about the release from both sides.

I find it hard to believe a 19 yr old NBA player is flashing his junk around. Both hotel and Spurs facilities are locations where the alleged would not be fully clothed at times. Need more info. I'd perform proper due diligence because this opportunity is extremely rare. If this was indecent exposure of an aggressive nature, then yeah, he's got to rehab his reputation. If there hasn't been misdemeanor charges filed, I'd question the story. Spurs are going to act from legal liability perspective and public relations. But we really have VERY little details here.

I find it remarkably easy to believe that a 19 year old is flashing their junk around.
