We still got people who can shoot. Not saying they should do it but maybe that's why they went with Barnes because they have a trade in the works for someone who can share the point with Fred. Who knows, maybe we're after Shai.

but as we saw in the playoffs we have nobody that can score in the halfcourt. kawhi was a machine in the paint when we won. did you see siakam as the 1st option vs the celts? yikessss.
 
BPA was not followed here... Dunno why they wouldnt trade down for him and pick up more assets..
Toronto and asset management.. oil and water

Yeah I don't like Siakim as the 1st option either. OKC just took Giddey too so hopefully we go hard after Shai and send them Siakim.

You know what, I'll take a Dame trade now. Raps usually hit on a lot, but today they went with what they liked before over best option.
This better work.

Probably because they felt Barnes wouldn't get past the Magic. So the options of trading down were quite limited.

Why would OKC trade Shai for Siakim...?

Also laughable everyone saying the trade is a disaster right away. If Barnes has the highest ceiling in the opinion of the draft room you go for him. Cant teach size, by all accounts he is a tremendous worker and has great character also two things hard to find. Suggs would have been great for sure, he is a winner but we will see how this roster is constructed in time.

who can we get rid of that will net us dame? to me hes not pushing us over the top. better to just rebuild as this point and pray barnes reches his absolute highest potential :(
 
Could the Raptors be trading Barnes if they like a guy who is lower?

Maybe they don't like Suggs and had their eyes on someone lower, but another team liked Barnes.
 
Siakam apparently wants out. We just selected Barnes.

Feels obvious he’s going. Just about where….
