Ross and Amir gone
Casey fired
A major upgrade at the 3 and 4
A true backup 5

Basically, think of the lineup this way:

Lowry/Vasquez/2015 draft pick or vet min FA
DeRozan/Lou/2015 draft pick or vet min FA
Upgrade 3/JJ/2015 draft pick or vet min FA
Upgrade 4/Patterson/Hansbrough
JV/True backup 5/Bebe (probably D-league)

Maybe I'm old school, but I prefer it when a team has 2 big man to defend the paint. I'd prefer to make teams shoot the ball because they have a lower percentage of making the shot.

Ideally we'd have a guy like Blake Griffin whose athleticism is so great that he can guard bangers or stretch 4s without sacrificing anything. Obviously, players of that ilk are tough to come by.

Yup not many can stop jv, and he never seems to get utilized at all. The guards shoot like ****. Let them keep shooting don't go inside to the guy who can actually score.
