Also, where the hell is the physicality? Why aren't guys throwing hits? Vesey has probably thrown more hits in this game than his whole tenure as a leaf. Can our coaching staff tell them to hit? Or are they telling them not to hit? I think Matthews has attempted more hits than Simmonds in this game. Why the hell did we bring him in if it's not for the physical play?

The Bad: WTF goaltending! we don't need no stinking goaltending, this could be the achilles heel, still though the D has to own the Leafs crease

The Butt Ugly: I just spent 5 days in the hospital and I have to see something like this the first night home

Idk. Goaltending and grit were the issues. He went out and addressed them. The goaltending sucks and the grit isn’t very gritty at all. Remains to be seen if Foligno can come in and steal someone’s lunch box and fire up the boys. Sometimes a different voice is all it takes

It's a tough sell to suggest the Leafs (on redemption tour from the Columbus series) can just ignore building good work habits and just flip a switch when it matters. Because the last time they thought that they got shut out in Game 5.

He's injury reserve fodder with Hutch I think.

Good effort overall from the boys tonight. A few hiccups here and there but loaded up the PP and it scored (hopefully keep doing this) and were the better team 5v5 the majority of the time.

Sandin looked good tonight and we might need him too.

I'd like to see Liljegren up at some time as well.

Officiating was horrid in the third with things being let go everywhere and then a random call out of nowhere.


Jeezus, I had to turn off the postgame. We'd have better analysis from a few level headed guys around here. It's almost like the story of the game isnt the two weakest goals in a period from a goalie the Leafs have had all season which lost them the game.

Yea idk, I could see the entire management getting tossed they're accomplishing nothing. But I could see Dubas being given one more shot with a new coaching staff.
