It's not just about winning and losing. It's about maximizing the growth of the prospect pool to improve the quality of their next foundation they utilize when they're ready. It's also about accelerating the return to contention. There's a certain number of years they have to hardcore tank in, but they don't need to tack on years of garbage unnecessarily.

Your entire focus is on the 1st rounder from this year and the short-term. This is a long-term project.

I don't give a f*** about being right. I care about them striving towards their next Cup and becoming an ambitious organization again. This is ANYTHING but ambitious.

And I've always said they need to do scorched earth since summer 2022 btw. So I haven't twisted jack shit.
