Please let it be outlaws. They could skate through big cowboy bar doors when they come on the ice and when they are announcing who scores/got assists they can play a whip crack after each name. So many cheesy ass ideas can be had with the outlaws that would piss off this entire board and bring me so much joy as a fan.

YEE-HAW, U-TAH chants...the possibilities are endless

I'm having a hard time imagining how Utah Yetis (wait, is it plural now?) could be confusing. I get that there is a brand Yeti, but it's not like any company can have an overarching claim to a mythological/zoological creature, especially in a different industry.

Yeti is a worse name than Kraken. So is Buzz. I know the team wants to stay away from religious themes, but not using Crusaders is a giant miss.
I suggested Crusaders but somebody mentioned that Utah people are Mormons and wouldn't like that so...Fighting Saints could have been cool but too Religious I guess and the NHL and hockey is trying to move entirely away from fighting so...Stingers would be cool since Utah is the BeeHive state but I don't that one either...HC was a horrible choice hopefully its just a placeholder for something much creative than that besides there is only one HC in Hockey and its the (24-25 Stanley Cups) Winning Montreal Canadiens

It should be Utes in reference to the Native Indian people of the region...oh wait the football team is called that

I think the issue is merchandising. Yeah, it’s a different industry for the core business, but YETI puts out a ton of merch too.
