Mammoth is awful, but this is also a league where a team has the name Wild.

"Canadiens" cuz we'er in Canada... also "Canucks" ... we have a "Senate" let's be "Senators"... killed a bunch of people and took their land "Blackhawks" ... stole a hockey team let's be called the "Stars" nobody else has those

I'm sure the victims of Helene love the "Hurricanes" name -- at least Connecticut had a whaling industry at one point

What's the least threatening, most innocuous thing in nature? A leaf? Exactly what's needed to intimidate opponents!

Is it this cute wooly mammoth mouse?

Not a fan, would have much preferred "Rogues" or "Sidewinders" (yes, I know, weren't even fan vote options, but those were all terrible).

If it's going to be Mammoth, at the very least they need a new logo (not the fan-vote one, it's bland), and they need to have the tusks on their mammoth in the logo make a slightly subtle "U", otherwise what are we even doing??

I liked Outlaws. Hate most non-plural team names. Mammoth? As in singular? Awful. Sounds like a National Lacrosse League franchise name.

I like Kraken, that name slaps imo. I hated Wild at first but they’ve been the Wild for so long now I can’t imagine them as anything else.
That's because it is.

But the Outlaws are a PLL team, so either way.

Mammoths are cool but I don't understand why they want to make it singular, like we're all collectively one single mammoth
The trend towards singular names is annoying
