Wasatch being included as a finalist without ever even being mentioned tells me they want that as the name. They probably already invested in concepts and prototypes a yeti character/emblem in anticipation of being Utah Yeti and got attached to it, so this would be a way to still use some of those.

Re-reading the copy, it sounds like we might see logos as soon as tonight if fans at the game who vote take pictures of it.

If they have a killer logo for Mammoth or Wasatch, it will be an easier sell. A good logo and mascot will go a long way in acceptance.

Out of these three, it's gotta be Mammoth.

Though they'll have to trade all of their guys below 6ft3 and acquire guys who are 6ft3 or taller. Guys like Logan Cooley and Clayton Keller don't really fit with a name like "Mammoth".

Coyotes was a great name. We didn't know how good we really had it.

Utah Hockey Club is the best of the three by far. It sounds like something from an older era of the NHL. Much better than the NHL 25 Create a Team "Mammoth" or the obscure "Wasatch".
