Just completely unacceptable behavior from Dest. Up 1-0 and he loses his mind about a borderline foul. Gregg was being a lot nicer to him in the post game than I would've.

That being said the response after the red card was awful from the players and the coach. Should've taken out one of the strikers instead of Reyna.

Dest showing a shocking lack of composure won't go unnoticed by future opponents. It should raise serious red flags for coach Gregg Berhalter, knowing that he can't count on Dest to put the team over some petty squabble with a ref.

Dest should be removed from the squad literally for years tbh. You can't trust him. You can't trust the stupid coach either but that's something everyone seems to be fine with.
 
Didn't watch the game because there just weren't any guys I was interested in looking out for. Most of these guys could be good for the Olympics, but don't see many of them competing for top 23 spots.

Yeah, pretty much.

I'd like to think our D team, or whatever, would be good enough to beat Slovenia's...C or D team, or whatever, but oh well. Not a lot to take away from this one.
 
Going to meet Gregg Berhalter in DC in 7 hours, very excited. Just wish he wasn't doing a 2 pm Q&A session, I mean most people are at work that time lol

Brendan Aaronson has finally started to look good for us and just had his best game in Germany. With his energy in pressing & dribbling causing a lot of chaos for Werder before he snagged the decisive Goal + Assist. Kid's always run hard, but that energy has been directed much more usefully of late.

Probably pissed he didn't make the Nations League roster. Love his game, glad to see he's playing better of late.
 
Here is the national team for this window. Not really any complaints other than i wouldn't have called up Adams just coming back from such a long term injury.




Sargent and de la torre injured and won’t attend camp. Bummer for Sargent. Haji Wright and Aaronson are the replacements.

I think that just says more about the state of USA goalkeeping right now. One of the weakest positions in the pool after being the strongest for decades. There isn’t really a good option
 
That was probably one of the worst halves of soccer we've played in a long time. Conceded within the first minute and were completely out of sync the entire half, like they never played with each other before. Add in the usual Berhalter ball where we can't break a low block
 
Toothless, passive, and our guys can't string 2 passes together for shit. We'll get the usual pitching about Berhalter, but this group has a way to go to come remotely close to the hype.
