Haha, well the good thing about hair thinning is usually you notice it more than other people.

For the most part, it's not too bad really... I just love complaining about it existing. San Diego is pretty laid back but the stuck up snobs certainly do exist. I notice it a lot more whenever I venture into certain parts of the LA metro though, lots of people have "phony" stamped across their foreheads in big neon letters
I still have tons of hair so it's not really an issue yet.

Is there anything I should do while in LA? I'm only there for a day.

You need more than a day ;)

If you want to hit up an amazing eating joint, check out Moruno in West Hollywood. Venice Beach is always a nice stroll. Don't know if you want to check out the touristy stuff like the Walk of Fame? Will you have a vehicle? If so, Mulholland drive is a must. Great sights.

We'll have a vehicle. I think we were going to check out the walk of fame already. We will take some of your ideas into consideration.

Why would I go to Vaughan Ontario

1) I work there

2) Vaughan is known as having some of the highest concentrations of southern Europeans (notably Italians), Eastern Europeans (chiefly Russians) and Jewish people in Ontario, while those who are of British and/or Irish origin form a smaller proportion than in many other southern Ontario cities.

How do any of these appeal to me, Andrew

What were you sick with? Nothing serious I hope.
C. difficile bacteria infection. Held off getting medical treatment like a ****ing idiot because I thought it was just something like IBS. But I dropped a lot of weight. If I didn't go when I did the infection could have gotten even worse and who knows what could have happened. Went to the doctor, got blood tests and I also had iron deficiency anemia due to the (at the time) undiagnosed infection. Got a stool sample, got diagnosed and started a 2 week course of antibiotics. The antibiotics killed it off, thankfully.

Doc wanted me to get a colonoscopy to rule out any other underlying issue like ulcerative colitis or Crohn's. Well I got the colonoscopy and turns out I have Crohn's disease as well.

I'm feeling a lot better now but i've started meds to get my Crohn's completely into remission and i'm still taking iron for my anemia.

Sorry for the paragraph but it's hard to sum up lol

No need to apologize at all dude. Wow, I'm glad you're okay and doing much better now. That's a lot of stuff to deal and pretty scary ****.

Thanks man. Yeah for a few weeks I was just out of it. Never had to stay in the hospital or anything but I had literally no energy to do ****ing anything. Lost my appetite and dropped below 100 pounds (i'm a pretty short dude but that's still dangerously low). Not to mention the fact that I had the ****'s about 10 times per day. Just an awful infection.

I've still gotta gain back weight but i'm making good progress on that. :)

Holy... that's insane, I can't even wrap my head around dropping to that weight and how it'd wreak havoc on your body. And that's on top of everything else you had to deal with. And then having to eat hospital food...

I'll be the first to admit that I'm the biggest wuss whenever I get even a little sick. If the flu ravages me, it's like I'm on my death bed lol. I crawl around the house like I have ebola. Have a lot of respect for people like you who go through stuff like that and come out of it with such a good attitude/stronger from it. Keep on putting on those pounds buddy!

Same with me, when I was a kid and had the flu I literally felt like I was going to die while I was puking my guts out.

Same with panic attacks. I got one for the first time this year and I could barely handle it, I again thought I was going to die because I didn't know what it was.
