I was a young impressionable lad back then. I remember stepping into these stores outside the British museum. They had these lad mags. They were Quite hilarious . also all the red phone booths had naughty stickers all around.

I come from Louisiana/Texas. You see a generous amount of mexicans working cooking/service industry jobs (but no where near like indians in TO) The usual answer is that they're legal with illegals sprinkled about, considering Mexico is a shared border and families migrate up.

It can be explained.

But India does NOT share a border with Toronto. And i must say i can hardly understand why toronto seems to be made of almost entirely foreign people.. Granted, they're all likely born Canadians, but still. Any one wanna help me understand?

What makes it sticks out so much for me is that almost every tim hortons, subway, popeyes and pizza place is staffed entirely (save for a white manager) by thick, heavy Indian accents i can hardly understand (perhaps because im not used to it)

LW Nikita Scherbak (Saskatoon, WHL) - Scherbak is a late riser on the draft boards. After a poor season in the MHL at 17 years old, he came over to Saskatoon where he made noise in his rookie year in WHL. He has a good size and really rounded his game out in Saskatoon this year. A strong, powerful stride combined with a good vision and a hard shot means he is always a threat off the rush. He works the corners really well and can use his size effectively. Scherbak still has work to do on rounding out his game defensively and finding consistent performances, but his rapid progression throughout the year bodes really well for that development.

Birthdate: December 30, 1995. Height: 6'2''. Weight: 174lbs.

NHL Projection: Fast, all around, 1st/2nd line winger

Comparable: Jakub Voracek

Brooks Orpik reached out to Roman Polak this morning after accidentally ending his season: "I don't think I've ever seen him stay down."
