I have actually a lot of respect for Edmonton and love Edmonton as a city (In fact Oilers fans even told me that they hate California, Vancouver, and Toronto more than they hate Calgary). I hope the Oilers do well, just that the Flames do even better is all. (If you're wondering why I'm a Flames fan, I've always loved Calgary as a city, it's a traditional Canadian city that is very multicultural and diverse unlike Vancouver and Toronto who claim to be proud of diversity, but in reality is just a consumerist market that follows materialistic culture. I also really loved both Iginla and Kiprusoff as soon as I saw them on TV, especially Kipper. Overall Calgary fit me as a city).
