What? Over the past 3 years you could easily argue that Rask has been the most consistently elite goalie in the league. While goalies like Price/Lundqvist may have had better single-season performances, Price had a .905 Sv% in 2012-13. While Lundqvist has also been very consistent, Rask has put up better numbers. He was injured a lot this year so it's hard to compare their stats, but they were both nearly the same as well. Rask did it over 70 games, though. I'd put Lundqvist ahead of him, though, as he's been elite for much longer than Rask. Rask DEFINITELY belongs in the top 5, I'd say top 3. I'd rate Price above him for sure, there's really no arguing that based on the year he had, then the rest are close. I'd make the list Price-Lundqvist-Rask-Rinne-Quick. Holtby and Schneider the next two.
Rask and Holtby put up more or less the same stats this year... But Rask had a "down year", while Holtby apparently deserves to be in the top-5 because of his stellar performance this year.
