I'm pretty sure he was simply not giving his 100% because he was tired of the coach and knew it was not a winning strategy

The puck was under Schneider's pad. The pad is what put the puck in the net from the inertia after getting pushed by Stafford.

Mantis, the span where Price has been terrible spans EXACTLY from when Therrien let him in for a bazillion goals and he stared at his teammates/therrien, and Therrien's firing. There are many goals he let in that you don't suddenly start giving up, even for a goalie in a bad stretch. These were saves a bantam goalie would have made, on which Price either did not even try or do the completely wrong move (something that someone with his experience would not really start suddenly doing repeatidly...)
