BF1942 was the OG where you could ride as the 3rd person on a plane wing and fly around People used to fly over to the other team's carrier and set dynamite on it

BF1942 Omaha Beach was stuff of legend

BF2 was probably second best. Spent many years playing Strike at Karkand. These servers would basically run the 4 arab maps all day (Karkand, Mashtuur, Jalalabad, Sharqi) and they never got old. Karkand leaving the paddles out all day reviving dozens of people to 100 health while people naded frags

BF4 already talked about endlessly why it's good

But the last time conquest was actually fun was probably 2

Back then there wasn't really any other modes. 1942 and 2 were basically just conquest. BF2 had 16/32/64 version of a map but again just conquest.
