Not too hopeful. No one seems to really have a idea what the OHL is doing or planning this year. Been pretty much a full spin around the sun since I last was in a arena. Miss the rink, the drives to and from roadies....

Who knows what happens from here in, virus and junior hockey wise.
I feel your pain. I returned home from my last monthly hockey road trip on Feb. 17, 2020, had the next two cancelled by the pandemic, and haven't been inside an arena since.

But your junior hockey will be back, just like mine will. Being a road tripper gives you more options than the average hockey fan. Use that to your advantage.

First Take’s Max Kellerman last summer let fly with monologue about the relative popularity of the sport, saying: “I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but in the United States of America, no one really cares about hockey. … It’s not one of the four major team sports.”

He's not wrong, but the hockey community tends to have a massive inferiority complex about being the 4th or 5th most popular sport.

He explicitly says the in-person attendance is great while TV ratings are bad, yet the person that made that video thought a bunch of clips of in-person crowds would prove him wrong, lol.

It's not hard to recognize the multiple reasons why the sport struggles with popularity.

1. Expensive sport, limiting youth participation
2. Sport is popular in some areas, ignored in other areas
3. Old boys club/toxic culture
4. NHL and NBC are shit at advertising

I'm sure there are more but I can tell this conversation will go nowhere
it's part of the 4 major sports in North America

it's more followed than soccer and soccer is highly popular in USA with rise of women's soccer and MLS expansion

Oh by the way a few days after Marchand bitched about the hit on Carlo Marchand himself ended up with a dirty hit. DOPS not involved.

Conspiracy?

I struggled a lot with this when I try to get online an airport, at a coffee shop, or in a hotel / conference room. The correct wifi network is selected but the login never shows up. I found out recently that you can hit 8.8.8.8 in the browser and that'll force the login page to open.

If you’re connecting to a public WiFi network, and can’t get the generic “click here to connect” page to pop up, open a browser (in incognito/private mode seems to help) and access routerlogin.net. This is normally the page one uses to access one’s home router, but 95% of the time in my experience, it automatically redirects to the pesky connect page at Starbucks, the library, Panera, etc. if you can’t get it to pop up on its own.

Simply enter this into your browser’s address bar: neverssl.com

No, those little fixes don't f***ing work, and I can't find an actual solution because the Google results are clogged with useless and obvious answers like those. Yes, I've tried going to a website, you idiots.

And no, restarting my computer isn't a fix, it's a god damn workaround. And yes, I've already tried that.

Connect to the network on my phone, immediately get prompted to login.

Try to connect on my laptop, takes really long to connect then does nothing.

Reinstall my wifi driver, same shit.

Hmmmmm.......the other day you said you were fine with the 7 games, so I will again request an answer to my original question......If Horny did what Wilson did, you'd also feel it would be "f***in 7 games", right?

Can’t see a public Wi-Fi login page? Try these solutions:
  1. Restart your PC
  2. Use a different browser
  3. Disable pop-up blocking
  4. Reset the network connection
  5. Open the router’s default page
  6. Turn off third-party DNS servers
  7. Enable incognito mode
  8. Flush the DNS cache via Command Prompt
  9. Renew the DHCP lease
  10. Disable Firewall temporarily
  11. Update your network adapter driver

No, none of that shit works.

Tempted to do this Network Reset through Windows Settings, because it's to that point where I have to trust the automated Windows scripts
