- they f***ed it up completely forcing in American valuesi nstead of Japanese values (teppanyaki, okamayaki and rice balls rarely mentioned, in one episode Brock says that these are great "jelly donuts", in Episode 2 Oak says that "his pizza is here" while in Japan the episode says "his ramen is ready")

- they edited japanese font out of season 1

- the dubs are boring

- they took out the intros and outros with Team Rocket's song and Professor Oak's lecture

Once a sub gets popular enough, it becomes worthless and unsalvageable.

People come in from r/all, have no idea what the theme of the sub is, then just upvote shit that they like regardless of if it actually belongs on the sub.

Mods want power over more people, so they ignore posts that don't belong, so long as they bring more subscribers to the sub.

With no real moderation, the repost bots show up and start posting whatever content that will get upvoted and make it to r/all.

With those reposts bringing in more people from r/all, the sub keeps getting continually worse until it's name has no meaning at all.
