make one! it's really not that hard to make them in their simplest form (sauté veggies and meat a little, add curry paste, stir fry a little, add coconut milk, tomato paste, broth, etc., simmer for an hour or two)

I might could attempt this one day. Hmmmmm.
I also need to check to see if their is a place nearby that serves it.
I think I remember you and Battle (or maybe just you?) who recommended going with Indian or Japanese Curry, right? At least for a first-time tasting experience.

It was the same night I was talking about wanting to try out this Vietnamese place that wasn't too terribly far from my house.

I still want to try curry one day

I passed by a house in my subdivision earlier this week on a walk & the smell of curry almost knocked me off my feet. LOTS of Indian families in our area and a few restaurants; but my wife is hesitant to try Indian food because she finds grocery store pepper cheese too spicy. I've told her there are such things as "mild curries" but she won't believe me.

Yeah I'm not too keen on a lot of spicy stuff, but if it's a mild or even what may be considered a "normal hot" I could try that at least 100%. I need to do some more digging to see if a place nearby serves it.
