How much water do you drink that a auto ice dispenser justifies the cost of upgrading and burning more power? I use a lot of water and ice as well, water in the morning with coffee, ice with the vodka later on. Filters and trays work fine...

Same for where I am. We've had a Brita dispenser for a good couple of years now. Even when it's cold I still drop in 3-4 pieces of ice just to get that super icy cold taste. AAAAAHHHH. Refreshing.

I noticed a huge difference with the results using a quality filter with both coffee and the bread maker. The pizza dough is so soft and fluffy...

I actually just started recently using it for my coffee but honestly haven’t noticed a difference.

I use a French press and drink if black for reference.

Yeah, I am a straight up black coffee drinker, can't fool me. I use a drip model, with the big coffee pot. It might be more noticeable with that and basic Max House then what you are using. I just like basic strong black coffee, so I never did get a Kuerig, or got into blends.

I started drinking coffee at age 6, I wanted to be like Dad, and Mom would pour me some in a plastic coffee cup. With a healthy dose of milk. They didn't serve coffee in the high school cafeteria but I found out the teachers lounge had it available. By the time I hit high school I was always craving coffee. I used to just walk into their lounge and quickly snag a coffee and take off through the blue haze of cigarette smoke. That didn't work for more then a few days.

Shortly after that they had those huge silver stanley cups with coffee.
